Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated AC Technician to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and HVAC equipment in our facility. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical components, and safety protocols to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, troubleshoot, and repair split, window, cassette, VRF, and central air conditioning systems.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
Check and refill refrigerant levels, clean coils and filters, and calibrate thermostats.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems and ensure timely repairs.
Maintain service logs, records of inspections, and reports for all maintenance activities.
Coordinate with vendors for major repairs or replacements if required.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, infection control protocols, and hospital guidelines.
Attend to emergency breakdowns and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Assist in energy-saving initiatives and contribute to environmental sustainability goals.

Requirements:

ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent.
Minimum 2 4 years of experience in AC servicing, preferably in healthcare or commercial establishments.
Sound knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer manuals.
Physically fit and capable of working in various conditions and at heights if required.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing is an advantage.
