Varex Imaging is seeking a results-oriented HRIS Analyst to support our global team. The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining Workday HCM and other HRIS systems and tools. This role will serve as the technical point of contact across various HCM functional areas. This position is an in-office position as the individual is expected to provide hands-on support to the HR team.
Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities:

Act as a Workday HCM subject matter expert, supporting the ongoing design, configuration, and maintenance of multiple HCM functional areas.

Partner with global HR and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical solutions.

Proactively identify opportunities for automation through Workday configuration, reporting, and other technical capabilities to improve processes and efficiency.

Support Workday bi-annual releases and other HRIS projects, including testing, documentation, and change management.

Monitor and implement new release features that align with the organizations goals and needs.

Conduct regular data audits and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee data across global sites.

Create and maintain documentation for business processes to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Provide training and support to other HR team members as needed.

Contribute to the overall HR team effort in delivering high-quality service and projects.

Assist with the coordination of and/or lead efforts for a wide variety of ongoing or annual HR projects.

Assist with HRIS-related SOX compliance, internal audits, and data privacy initiatives.
Required Experience and Skills:
-
3+ years of designing, configuring, and supporting 2-3 Workday functional areas such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Help, Talent, and Performance management modules.

Experience in other HCM modules such as Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, and Absence management is a plus.

Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and EIBs.

Demonstrated ability to organize, manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and adjust to changes in priorities and situations to meet deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to effectively balance and complete multiple projects and deliverables within expected timeframes and deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders, use tact and diplomacy, maintain confidentiality, and appropriately handle and communicate controversial or sensitive information.

Demonstrated ability to create written documents and training materials.

Demonstrated ability to evaluate, analyze, and summarize data and facts, establish logical connections, and form sound decisions based on analysis.

Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Experience and Skills

Experience configuring Workday for a global, publicly traded company.

Knowledge of SOX controls and GDPR guidelines.

Proficient in building Workday dashboards and creating various types of Workday reports.

Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams across time zones.

Comfortable working flexible hours to support stakeholders in North America, EMEIA, and APAC.

Prior experience with other HRIS applications, such as ADP or UKG, is an asset.

bachelors or masters degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP product and productivity software is desired.
