Workday Consultant/Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead

    end-to-end implementation and configuration

    of Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, etc.)
  • Design scalable and efficient

    Workday business processes

    , reports, dashboards, and integrations.
  • Act as

    solution architect

    for Workday transformations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Work with HR, IT, and stakeholders to gather requirements and define best-fit solutions.
  • Conduct

    gap analysis

    , develop functional specifications, and validate system configuration.
  • Drive

    Workday upgrades

    , new feature rollouts, and system enhancements.
  • Create and maintain

    documentation, test scripts, training materials

    .
  • Provide

    technical oversight and mentorship

    to junior consultants and developers.
  • Coordinate with

    integration teams (e.g., Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect)

    to build and maintain integrations.
  • Ensure

    compliance and data security

    within Workday ecosystem.
  • Support

    post-go-live stabilization, performance tuning

    , and continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of overall experience in HR Tech, with

    5+ years hands-on Workday experience

    .
  • Strong exposure to multiple Workday modules:

    Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Time, Recruiting, Benefits

    .
  • Workday

    Integration expertise (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, PECI)

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    business processes, security groups, calculated fields, and reporting (Advanced/Matrix reports)

    .
  • Experience in

    Workday Extend or Prism

    (preferred).
  • Certification(s)

    in Workday HCM or related modules (advantageous).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to

    lead client workshops, design sessions

    , and stakeholder reviews.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday Architect or Lead Consultant experience in at least

    2 full lifecycle implementations

    .
  • Exposure to

    global HR implementations

    and

    complex multi-country rollouts

    .
  • Familiarity with

    Agile methodology

    and

    JIRA/Confluence

    for project tracking.
