Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Elevator Wireman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, wiring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in elevators and lifts. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Installation:
• Perform wiring and installation of control panels, motors, and other electrical components in elevators and lifts.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Testing and Troubleshooting:
• Test electrical systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including wiring issues, circuit problems, and motor malfunctions.
• Maintenance and Repairs:
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems in elevators.
• Replace faulty wiring, components, or parts as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure all electrical work meets regulatory standards and company safety protocols.
• Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including inspections, repairs, and parts replaced.
• Provide detailed reports on completed tasks and recommendations for improvements.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring in elevators or similar equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with safety standards and electrical codes for elevator systems.
• Proficient in using tools and equipment required for wiring and electrical work.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Education & Experience:

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical or a related field.
• Proven experience as an elevator wireman or similar role in the elevator industry.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and under physically demanding conditions.
