You will lead efforts to ensure effective monitoring, alerting, and management of network devices and servers, as well as provide guidance to junior administrators. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Planning and Design: · Develop and implement a strategic vision for Zabbix and SolarWinds that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. · Lead the design and optimization of Zabbix and SolarWinds infrastructure, including advanced monitoring templates, devices, and alerting rules. 2. User Support and Training: · Provide expert support for end-users of Zabbix and SolarWinds, addressing complex issues related to monitoring, alerting, and system performance. · Offer training and mentorship to Level 1 and Level 2 administrators and end-users. 3. Advanced Monitoring and Alerting: · Oversee the monitoring of network devices, servers, and applications using Zabbix and SolarWinds. · Implement and manage advanced alerting policies, escalation procedures, and incident response plans. 4. Security and Compliance: · Ensure that Zabbix and SolarWinds configurations adhere to the highest standards of security and compliance. · Monitor and address vulnerabilities to reduce security risks. 5. Advanced Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: · Provide Level 3 support for complex Zabbix and SolarWinds-related issues, incidents, and user problems. · Conduct root cause analysis for challenging technical problems and implement expert solutions. 6. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: · Maintain comprehensive documentation of Zabbix and SolarWinds configurations, best practices, and advanced troubleshooting procedures. · Collaborate with senior administrators to create and update knowledge base articles. Key Responsibilities SolarWinds: Should be familiar with tool administration, design, configuration, developing Dashboards, automation and managing daily operations. Monitoring Tool Deployment, Administration, Configuration and Troubleshooting Assist with the design of system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems. Integration of 3rd party element managers with APIs (application programming interfaces) Assist with the design of subsystems and integration of the total system. Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies. Develop and recommend corrective actions. Maintaining and Configuring Rules Fand Managing Alerts etc. Performance tuning of application and finding automation methods Assist with trade studies, to determine system (hardware, software, architecture) improvements. Develop high-quality technical documentation, including user guides, test plans, and contract deliverable items. Able to install, configure and administer SolarWinds components, including Network Performance Monitor (NPM), NCM (Network Configuration Manager) and NTA (Network Traffic Analyzer) Should have expertise in SolarWinds tool implementation, migration, and administration on (NPM, NCM (Network Configuration Manager), NTA, WPM (Web Performance Monitor), VNQM (VoIP & Network Quality Manager) SAAS (Software as a Service) Product Experience configuring monitors using SNMP, SSH (Secure Shell), WinRM (Windows Remote Management), WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation), JMX and other technologies. Experience configuring collection of Syslog messages from various devices and storing and forwarding as required by local policies. Provide expertise to define, monitor, and report on SLAs (service level agreements) Provide expertise to detect and verify performance issues and determine the scope of the performance issue Experience in developing and creating of dashboards Ability to provide consultation for new projects, functionalities, migrations, upgrades. Ability to direct and guide team to resolve crisis situations within prescribed SLAs Ability to plan, initiate and manage special tasks/projects. Good analytical, troubleshooting skills in technical fault isolation and rectification. Ability to resolve service requests. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes. Strong Knowledge of ITSM processes Interface proactively with other Infrastructure support teams such as UNIX, Windows, Mac OS (Operating System), Network, Storage, etc. Document issues and associated resolutions to problems Prepare documentation and presentation of progress reports to customers Flexible to work in 247 environments Key Skill: Hands-on Systems Administration of Windows (Minor) experience. Strong experience with SCOM monitoring suite (2016) experience. Demonstrated advanced troubleshooting experience. Demonstrated ability to perform system upgrades, maintenance, and reporting. Strong troubleshooting or problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment or independently. Strong Oral and Written communication skills. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). · 5+ years of experience in Zabbix and SolarWinds administration, optimization, and expert support. · Proficiency in advanced Zabbix and SolarWinds configurations, including network devices, server monitoring, and alerting policies. · Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. · The ability to mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
