Web Performance & Conversion Optimization Specialist

As a Web Performance & Conversion Optimization Specialist at Protein World, you will play a crucial role in enhancing website performance and implementing conversion-focused design strategies. Your primary objective will be to boost revenue and engagement by improving website speed, user experience, and conversion funnels. You will work closely with developers, designers, and marketers to deliver impactful digital experiences, ranging from one-off audits to continuous support. Your responsibilities will include conducting website performance audits focusing on Core Web Vitals and mobile speed, performing custom Shopify/web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid, and driving conversion rate optimization through activities like landing page A/B testing, funnel optimization, and heatmap analysis. Additionally, you will optimize page speed using tools such as Lighthouse, GTMetrix, and PageSpeed Insights, enhance UX/UI based on CRO best practices, create performance dashboards and reports, and collaborate with various teams to improve end-to-end performance. Regular monitoring and benchmarking of performance metrics will be essential to identify areas for enhancement. To excel in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience in performance optimization, CRO, or custom web development, along with proficiency in Shopify, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Liquid. A strong grasp of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and A/B testing platforms is necessary, as well as familiarity with CRO tools like Hotjar, Crazy Egg, or Clarity. Deep knowledge of Core Web Vitals, LCP, FID, and CLS, coupled with an analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills, will be advantageous. Moreover, your ability to effectively communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders is crucial for successful collaboration.
