Performance Analysis & Monitoring Use tools such as Google Lighthouse, GTmetrix, WebPageTest, and New Relic to benchmark and monitor site performance. Track real-time metrics using Google Analytics, Hotjar, and APM solutions. Conduct periodic performance audits to identify opportunities for optimization. 2. Optimization Strategies Collaborate with development teams to improve front-end and back-end performance. Work with DevOps to ensure that deployment processes do not negatively impact performance. Recommend and implement optimization techniques such as code minification, image compression, lazy loading, and CDN integration. Support the adoption of advanced techniques including HTTP/3, efficient caching strategies, and server-side enhancements. 3. Deliver actionable, technically sound recommendations for performance improvements. 4. Documentation & Reporting Produce detailed performance reports with benchmarks, improvements, and suggested next steps. Maintain documentation of processes, tools used, and optimization practices for future reference. 6. Industry Awareness Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in web performance and optimization. Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies or frameworks to enhance performance. Qualifications & Skills Required Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent practical experience.
