Job Description

Vice President of Sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

    Develop and execute a high-impact sales strategy aligned with overall business goals. Drive quarterly and annual sales planning, forecasting, and performance targets.
  • Team Leadership & Development:

    Build, lead, and mentor a results-oriented sales team across multiple regions or verticals. Define KPIs and implement training programs to elevate performance.
  • Salesforce CRM Leadership:

    Champion the use of Salesforce across the sales team. Ensure consistent data hygiene, pipeline management, and reporting standards to support accurate forecasting and team accountability.
  • Revenue Growth & Expansion:

    Identify new revenue streams, market opportunities, and key partnerships to drive top line growth. Expand the customer base and increase wallet share with existing accounts.
  • Customer-Centric Approach:

    Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to understand customer needs, optimize sales funnels, and improve conversion rates.
  • Sales Operations & Analytics:

    Leverage Salesforce dashboards and reports to track performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and optimize sales processes. Drive data-driven decisions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    Collaborate with C-level executives to align sales initiatives with overall company strategy. Represent the sales function in board meetings and investor updates.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (15+ years) in senior sales leadership roles, preferably in [industry/domain].
  • Hands-on experience with

    Salesforce CRM

    adept at using reports, dashboards, automation tools, and integrations.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling teams, building revenue pipelines, and consistently exceeding targets.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
