Job Description



Verification and Validation Engineer


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain V&V plans, procedures, and traceability matrices in accordance with aerospace and critical application standards.

  • Define test strategies for software modules and systems components.

  • Participate in requirements analysis to ensure testability and coverage.

  • Design and execute test cases for unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing.

  • Perform test automation and scripting where applicable.

  • Document test results, non-conformances, and verification reports.

  • Support audits, design reviews, and regulatory compliance activities.

  • Interface with systems engineering, software, hardware, and quality assurance teams.

  • Work closely with certification authorities (e.g., CEMILAC/RCMA, FAA, EASA) as needed.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in V&V activities in aerospace or defence domains.

  • Hands-on experience with tools like VectorCAST, LDRA, or similar.

  • Familiarity with aerospace standards: DO-178B/C (software).

  • Strong understanding of safety-critical systems and requirement-based testing.

  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in avionics systems, flight control systems, or embedded software.

  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or C for test automation.

  • Familiarity with Waterfall and V-model development lifecycle.
