JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION UI-UX Head - Digital Transformation DESIGNATION Assistant Vice President POSITION GRADE L6 DEPARTMENT Information Technology SUB DEPARTMENT Digital Transformation REPORTING POSITION L8 MANAGEMENT LEVEL Middle OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE To conceptualise, design, and build intuitive user experiences across digital products of Kotak Life, with twin aims of innovating as well as building standards KEY RESPONSIBILITIES . Collaborate o Identify internal or external customers and establish modes of meaningful conversations with them o Work with product managers to synthesize abstract or amorphous ideas into design implications o Work with product managers to define measurable UX goals and drive action on the same . Design o Translate concept into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes, on agreed timelines o All designs to be optimised for wide variety of devices and interfaces o Ensure that design sanctity is maintained in the development stage and list deviations for future action o Constantly review user experience of existing products / interfaces and drive improvement on those . Drive o Drive adherence to standards across various digital products in Kotak Life o Identify areas of bad UI/UX and pick up isolated projects, with the aim of showcasing delta in outcomes o Put customer in the centre and stretch the definition of UX, thereby touching various cross functional departments and setting up forums to demand more for the customer INTERACTIONS Internal Relations: Business heads, cross-functional project teams, Digital Product Managers, Technology team representatives, and top Mgmt External Relations: Vendor Partners REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS Educational Qualifications: Post-Graduation: Master of Design (or equivalent) - education qualification may be relaxed given demonstrated experience Work Experience (relevant): 5 years of design experience, with 2 additional years of team management. Experience in BFSI sector, with established or new players, preferred Certifications: Not necessary Other skills: Interpersonal . Ability to clearly communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and stakeholders . Excellent written communication skills Technology skills . Expertise in standard UX software is a must. HTML, CSS, Javascript skills are a plus . Deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design

Requirements: Bachelors or master s in design stream (Information Design, User Interface, Interaction Communication, Graphics, Industrial, etc) from Design College with 2 years or 4 years of formal design education. 4 to 7 years of relevant UX experience. Proficiency in UX software (Sketch Preferred). Worked on at least 2-3 complex enterprise level projects (B2B preferred) Ability to work in a hypergrowth and quick deliverable environment. Strong Communication skill with outstanding presentation and Visual skill.
