Title CFD Research Engineer

You will be responsible for developing computational fluid dynamics models for solid-fluid interaction, heat transfer, and lubrication. Your projects will be tailored to your skill set, but you must meet the following qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: - Hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Have at least 2 years of experience in building physics-based models. - Possess a minimum of 2 years of modeling experience with openFOAM or similar open-source CFD software. - Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and advanced coursework in computational fluid dynamics, heat & mass transfer. - Show research capabilities through publications in reputable engineering journals. - Display a high level of motivation to generate project ideas and achieve project goals with a passion for innovation. Desirable Qualifications: - Previous experience in lubrication and tribology. - Knowledge of multiphase flow modeling. - Understanding of rheology and experience in solving solid-fluid interaction problems. - Familiarity with coding in Python.,
