Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Mathematics

Location: Mohali, Punjab

Role Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced TGT Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team at Gian Jyoti Global School in Mohali. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, well-versed with the CBSE curriculum, and capable of creating a stimulating learning environment that fosters academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons for middle and secondary school (grades 5–10).
• Develop lesson plans in line with the CBSE curriculum and academic goals of the school.
• Conduct assessments and maintain student records under school guidelines.
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills through innovative teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school management to promote a cohesive learning environment.
• Prepare students for internal assessments and external exams, including Olympiads or CBSE board evaluations.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and training programs.
• Use technology tools (smartboards, educational apps) to enhance learning outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) – Mandatory.
• CTET Paper II – Qualified (as per CBSE norms).
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Mathematics, preferably in a CBSE school.
• Proficient in using digital tools for classroom instruction and student engagement.

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students of varying learning levels.
• Familiarity with assessment techniques and modern pedagogical methods.
