Test Engineer(Contract)

The role of preparing test cases and conducting testing for the product/platform/solution to be implemented at a client's end is crucial for ensuring 100% quality assurance parameters are met. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding the test requirements, designing test cases, and authoring test planning based on business requirements and testable criteria. It is essential to implement Wipro's testing methodology, including Model based testing, to streamline test generation efficiently. Collaboration with the development team is necessary to identify and document test cases, ensuring version control and alignment with the testing scope. Participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and automation of the test life cycle through various tools like vb macros, scheduling, and GUI automation will be part of your responsibilities. Designing and executing the automation framework, along with reporting, will contribute to software validation and quality assurance. Your role involves detecting and documenting bug issues, preparing defect reports, and monitoring test progress to maintain project timelines and adherence to SLA's. Providing timely feedback on usability, serviceability, and quality risks will be crucial for reporting to stakeholders. Regular status reporting, customer interaction, and updates on testing deliverables will ensure customer satisfaction and project success. Performance will be measured based on the accuracy of understanding test requirements, error-free testing solutions, automation levels achieved, testing efficiency, on-time delivery, troubleshooting effectiveness, and customer satisfaction scores. Timely response to customer requests, accurate effort updates in project trackers, and adherence to quality and SLA norms will be essential for successful performance in this role.,
