Technical Manager

As a skilled and experienced developer with a team lead or senior role, you will lead and manage a team of developers, providing guidance, code reviews, and mentorship. Your responsibilities will include architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using PHP and relevant frameworks. To ensure timely delivery of high-quality products, you will collaborate with project managers, designers, and QA team members. In addition, you will manage server configurations, deployments, backups, and focus on application security and performance. Setting coding standards and best practices to enhance code quality and re-usability will be part of your routine tasks. Troubleshooting, debugging existing applications, and identifying areas for improvement will also be within your scope. You will handle version control using Git and manage CI/CD pipelines. Monitoring server health and ensuring 24/7 uptime for critical web applications will be crucial aspects of your role. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in PHP development, with at least 2 years in a team lead or senior role, is required. Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and modern frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, Opencart is essential. Strong experience with REST APIs, AJAX, and third-party integrations is desirable. Moreover, you should possess good knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap. Experience in server management including Linux, Apache/Nginx, VPS, cPanel, SSL, firewalls, etc., is necessary. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Digital Ocean, or similar is advantageous. Proficiency in Git, version control systems, and deployment tools is expected. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment are highly valued.
