Technical Lead Revenue Cloud _ Forsys

Role & responsibilities

• 8+ years of experience working as a data migration technical lead with hands-on experience in complex and challenging migration projects
  
• Plan and execute data migration strategy for Salesforce Revenue Cloud including CPQ (Configure Price Quote), Billing, and related modules.
  
• Coordinate with the client to determine their data needs, including the types of data that need to be migrated, build data models from scratch and prepare data mappings.
  
• Analyze source data quality and prepare data cleansing strategies. Cleanse data as necessary to remove the potential issues with data migration. Get sign-off and perform data loads.
  
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Informatica, Talend, or native Salesforce tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, etc.).
  
• Follow best practice standards and protocols for migration of data.
  
• Evaluate different source systems to determine how to best move data from one system to another system (for example: Salesforce). Should have experience working with large volumes of data and methodology to process it concurrently.
  
• Design and implement data validation, perform data validation pre and post migration, come up with Data Reconciliation reports.
  
• Establish testing procedures to ensure that the migrated data is accurate and consistent with client specifications
  
• Provide technical support for the data migration process to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently.
  
• Create documentation of the migration process to serve as a guide for future migration projects
  
• Collaborate and guide the team for the deliverables.
  
• Document the data analysis, mapping specifications, and prepare the Technical Design Document.
  
• Perform in High Pressure environment.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• 8+ years of experience in data migration or ETL roles, with 2+ years in Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ + Billing).
  
• Strong experience in using any of the ETL Tools (eg. Pentaho, Mulesoft, Informatica, Data Stage, SSIS etc.)
  
• Good understanding of Salesforce data model
  
• Hands on experience in different phases involved in Data Migration
  
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with APIs and integration patterns.
  
• Experience in data/process mapping in Data Migrations involving Salesforce, Oracle, Legacy systems etc. is preferred.
  
• Strong Experience working on different databases, SQLqueries.
  
• Knowledge of Supply Chain/CRM/Quote to Cash/Quote to Order business.
  
• Experience handling of various data formats (XML, JSON, etc.)
  
• Expert on SOAP & REST Services, API implementation and any Cloud services
  
• Good Communications, ability to work in teams, onshore and offshore,, motivated to Achieve more
  
• Self-driven, goal-oriented individuals are preferred
  
• Strong Analytical & Problem Solving Skills, Quick Learner
  
• Prior experience with NetSuite, SAP, Zuora, or Oracle as source systems for migration to Salesforce Revenue Cloud is preferred.
