Job Description

As a Technical Lead, you will play a key role in the development and enhancement of Optics Network Management applications for Photonic/WDM, Optical Transport, and SDH/SONET products. You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions while working with Core Java, Spring, Kafka, Zookeeper, Hibernate, and Python. Your expertise in RDBMS, PL-SQL, Linux, Docker, and database concepts, along with knowledge of continuous integration and agile practices, will drive efficiency in software development. Exposure to UI technologies like React and domain knowledge in OTN and Photonic network management will be an added advantage. As a self-motivated problem solver, you will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and geographically distributed environment, ensuring innovative and scalable solutions for global customers. You Have: Bachelor's degree with 3 to 5 years of development experience. Motivated to develop high-quality software in complex, challenging, and geographically distributed environments. Hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring, Kafka, Zookeeper, Hibernate, and Python. Working knowledge of RDBMS, PL/SQL, Linux, Docker, and database concepts is required. It would be nice if you also had: Exposure to UI technologies like React is desirable. Good at continuous integration and agile practices. Domain knowledge of OTN and photonic network management is an added advantage. Hands-on experience in development activities such as requirement analysis, design, coding, and unit testing Network Management of Optics Division products, including Photonic/WDM, Optical Transport, and SDH/SONET. Optics Network Management applications provide users with control over the network in terms of configuration (infrastructure, end-to-end services), fault supervision, and performance monitoring. Optics Network Management applications interface with different network elements, provide a friendly graphical user interface, and implement algorithms and functions to enable easier network management and OPEX reduction. Optics Network Management applications are deployed worldwide in several hundred installations, serving customers of all sizes, from large enterprises businesses. Optics Network Management will be part of the development team and will contribute to new developments and the maintenance of applications, with the goal of increasing functionality and customer satisfaction.
