Team Lead – Transportation & Logistics

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Team Lead Transportation & Logistics to oversee and manage a team responsible for vehicle placement, delivery coordination, and route planning for inter-city trips across India. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of transport operations, and the ability to drive process improvements to enhance cost-efficiency and reliability in distribution.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Coordination:Lead a team managing vehicle placement, delivery scheduling, and post-delivery processes.Provide daily oversight, support, and guidance to team members to meet operational KPIs.Transport Partner Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with transporters and logistics partners across India.Operational Oversight:Supervise coordination with drivers, delivery personnel, and third-party transport partners to ensure on-time deliveries and proper documentation.Monitor daily route plans and schedules to optimize transport efficiency and resource utilization.Process Improvement:Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline transportation operations.Analyze data to reduce costs, minimize delays, and improve service reliability.Reporting & Compliance:Ensure accurate and timely reporting of transport operations and issues.Enforce compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Coordination:Lead a team managing vehicle placement, delivery scheduling, and post-delivery processes.Provide daily oversight, support, and guidance to team members to meet operational KPIs.Transport Partner Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with transporters and logistics partners across India.Ensure the timely placement of vehicles for inter-city shipments from multiple locations.Operational Oversight:Supervise coordination with drivers, delivery personnel, and third-party transport partners to ensure on-time deliveries and proper documentation.Monitor daily route plans and schedules to optimize transport efficiency and resource utilization.Process Improvement:Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline transportation operations.Analyze data to reduce costs, minimize delays, and improve service reliability.Reporting & Compliance:Ensure accurate and timely reporting of transport operations and issues.Enforce compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
