Systems Administrator

As a Systems Administrator at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amaravati Campus, your role will involve managing, supporting, and enhancing the enterprise-level IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for deploying, monitoring, maintaining, and upgrading server and network systems to ensure the availability, reliability, security, and performance of on-premises infrastructure and related services. It is essential for you to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field (B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. IT/B.Sc. IT). Alternatively, a Diploma in Computer Engineering/IT with strong relevant experience may also be considered. Possessing professional certifications such as RHCE, MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, VMware Certified Professional, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications will be an advantage. The ideal candidate for this role will showcase strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a collaborative, service-oriented mindset. Previous experience working in an academic or research institution will be highly desirable. This is a Non-Teaching role based in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, with a requirement for one qualified individual.
