Supervisor – Plant

Job Title: Mines Supervisor – Plant Department: Mining / Plant Operations Reports To: Plant Manager / Mine Manager Location: [BALRAMPUR Location – e.g., Iron Ore Mine, Limestone Quarry, etc.]

Job Purpose:

To supervise and coordinate daily operations of the plant section of a mine, ensuring safe, efficient, and productive performance of all plant equipment and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise plant operations including crushers, screens, conveyors, and associated equipment.
• Ensure optimum equipment utilization and output with minimum downtime.
• Monitor and maintain plant production targets as per the mining plan.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with the mechanical and electrical teams.
• Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed by all personnel.
• Conduct routine inspections of the plant for wear, potential hazards, or inefficiencies.
• Train and guide plant operators and helpers on operational best practices.
• Maintain daily logs and reports on production, equipment status, and manpower.
• Coordinate with mine and dispatch teams to ensure material flow and quality control.
• Comply with statutory requirements under DGMS (Directorate General of Mines Safety).

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma / Degree in Mining, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Certification: Mines Foreman Certificate / Mines Mate Certificate (preferred, if applicable).
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in mining plant operations, including supervisory roles.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Good knowledge of crushing, screening, and beneficiation plants
• Familiar with safety and environmental regulations in mining
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, reporting software)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
