Job Title: IPDRG Supervisor

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee inpatient coding based on DRG rules
  • Check accuracy and quality of assigned codes
  • Help train and guide coding staff
  • Work with doctors to fix any coding issues
  • Track coding trends and suggest improvements

Requirements:

  • Degree in health records, nursing, or similar
  • Certified in coding (like CPC or CCS)
  • 5+ years in medical coding, 2+ years in a lead role
  • Good knowledge of ICD-10 and DRG systems
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
