Job Summary

We’re seeking a knowledgeable, customer‑focused Rice & Pulses Sales Executive to join our hypermarket team. You’ll be the go‑to expert for all things rice and pulses—advising customers on varieties, quality, cooking methods and helping them select products that perfectly meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Consultation: Greet shoppers, assess their requirements (dietary preferences, cooking style, budget), and recommend suitable rice and pulses varieties.
• Product Expertise: Maintain in‑depth knowledge of rice
• Merchandising & Inventory:
• Ensure rice & pulses displays are well‑stocked, clean and attractively presented.
• Monitor stock levels, perform FIFO rotation and liaise with procurement to reorder before items run low.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect shipments for pests, damaged packaging or moisture issues.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance for any discrepancies.
• PLU Operations:
• Accurately weigh items and enter the correct PLU codes for pricing.
• Package products efficiently and ensure labeling matches PLU entries.
• Handle cash/card payments following store cash‑handling procedures.
• Customer Feedback & Service:
• Resolve inquiries or complaints professionally.
• Gather customer feedback to help refine our product mix.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
