Position : Strategic Sourcing Manager

Exp : 10+ years

Location : Ahmedabad.

key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Sourcing

   :
• Lead sourcing efforts for OEM components, materials, and services to support product development and manufacturing requirements.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality outcomes.
• Analyze market trends, identify new sourcing opportunities, and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions.

2. Supplier Management

   :
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers, driving supplier performance, quality, and delivery standards.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with OEM suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and optimized supply chain performance.
• Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct regular supplier evaluations and audits.

3. Cost Optimization & Procurement

   :
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, logistics, etc.) to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements in the procurement process.
• Develop and manage the sourcing budget, ensuring that procurement activities stay within cost and time constraints.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing, procurement, and supplier management processes.

4. Risk Management

   :
• Identify potential supply chain risks, including geopolitical, economic, and environmental factors, and develop mitigation plans to ensure continuity of supply.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies related to sourcing, contracts, and supplier relationships.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

   :
• Collaborate with product development, engineering, and operations teams to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of OEM components.
• Provide strategic sourcing insights and recommendations to leadership and other departments to support decision-making.

6. Data & Reporting

   :
• Use data analytics and sourcing tools to track and report sourcing performance, supplier trends, and cost-saving metrics.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and budget status.
  

Qualifications

• Education

  : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  Experience

  :
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in an OEM or manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving cost optimization initiatives.
• Familiarity with OEM sourcing strategies, global supply chains, and industry-specific standards and regulations.
