Storage Field Engineer (L2) Job Description: Candidate should have good experience on Implementation and Support of SAN/NAS Storage. Should be open for Field Support. Job Requirement: Previous experience as a Field Engineer Installation and configuration (including Rack Mounting) of SAN/NAS storage like NetApp /Dell EMC/Hitachi Storage, etc. preferably NetApp storage Installation and configuration of SAN switches Knowledge of management services like SSH, SFTP, FTP, http. Configuration knowledge of all SAN/NAS protocols Configuration Knowledge of RAID, Volume, Aggregate, Snapshot, Snap Restore, Snap Mirror, Vol Copy, ndmp, LUN provisioning, etc., Knowledge of Windows and Linux OS Basic Knowledge of Hypervisor and Virtual machine Basic Knowledge of Backup technologies (e.g. Commvault, Veeam and Veritas) Troubleshooting skills Ability to perform responsibilities remotely or on customer premises as needed Ability to participate in a 24x7 support Good Communication Aptitude for learning new technologies Ability to work occasional nights and weekends to deal with outages and maintenance windows Interested candidates can share their CV with albina.shere@pentagon.co.in
