Job Description

We are looking for Staff SDET who can help to create utilities and comparators for ingestion system and gradually Build Strong Automation process around WCP applications while Legacy Flow migration in progress. Automation should be further enhanced with GEN AI capabilities and downsize the contractor dependency.

What you'll do:

Perform quality Engineering Automation testing for large-scale, commerce applications, tools, and/or software.

Support continuous integration process improvement and innovation

Support faster releases by efficient automation strategies

Write test plans and test cases.

Write test cases for UI & API s, Ingestion, DB Comparators and Event Management tools.

Logs verification - backend and frontend.

Raise defects, triage and get it resolved in a timely manner

Improve, optimise, and identify opportunities for improved software development lifecycle.

Troubleshoot critical defects and identify root cause.

What you'll bring:

Strong expertise of coding and programming skills in Core Java, Python
Experience with automation design, scripting, and execution.
Strong experience in developing Testing tools/ Utilities using Spark and Python
Hands-on experience of Spring Boot Service hosting and managing.
Strong understanding of quality, testing principles and writing effective test cases.
Strong hold in Performance testing and Concepts

Expertise on at least one out of Backend and Frontend automation

Experience in Designing and executing API functional/ E2E testing and backend (DB, Batch, Events, Queues) automation using Rest Assured and postman
Experience in Designing and executing UI Functional/ E2E testing (Web and Responsive) Manual and Automation Testing using Selenium, Maven and TestNG
Automated Reporting, CI/CD/CV enablement and Excellent Debugging Skills on Cloud infrastructure for Automation and Applications both

Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, GIT , build processes, testing, and operations

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years experience in software engineering or related area.Option 2: 6 years experience in software engineering or related area.

Preferred Qualifications...

Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years experience in software engineering or related area
