Staff nurse

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and professional standards. The nurse collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being, safety, and comfort of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patients’ health conditions and report changes to physicians or nurse supervisors.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in diagnostic tests and operate medical equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in critical care situations.
• Supervise and support nursing aides or junior staff as necessary.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

ANM/GNM or B.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institution.
