Job Description

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Ensure excellent 24x7 Operation of CLSA s core mission-critical Middleware estate
Act as the SME for all Solace (primary) and CLSA data platform (Secondary)
Partner closely with Application Development and Support teams to rollout new services seamless and efficiently.
Act as a mentor to train junior staff
Ensure that the estate is instrumented and monitored effectively
Establish and maintain an effective framework that provides a comprehensive management controls to protect the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of CLSA s information assets.
Work with the team for enhancement, automation and standardization of process/work
Responsible for executing failover / failback for global Solace platform
Perform troubleshooting activities on production servers off-hours (nights or weekends) if required to minimize impact to operations
Participate in on-call support rotation
Providing timely server recovery
Schedule and document regular changes according to companys change management rules & guidelines
Ensure that production environment is kept stable and efficient
Adherence to CLSA documented governance guidelines
Propose, document and implement new enhancements as required
Liaison with applications, database groups etc on server related matters, providing technical advice & guidance as appropriate.
Provide at all times an excellent, fast and responsive service to other teams

Requirements

At-least 6-7 years of experience in Solace appliances , Solcache, Solace Implementation and related Server Infrastructure with total years of experience of 10-12 years.
Completed Solace training
Solace system administration for Global Solace implementation
Good technical knowledge in SQL and Unix
Strong Stakeholder management for application related stakeholders
ITIL process adherence (change, release, incident, problem management)
