Sr. Software Developer

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing a legacy software application built using VC++ and MFC with an Oracle database. You will diagnose and fix software defects to ensure the stability and reliability of the application. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions is a key aspect of this role. Additionally, you will perform code reviews, write efficient code, and maintain coding standards and best practices. Your role will also involve optimizing application performance and ensuring the scalability and security of the software. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Furthermore, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools. To be successful in this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). You should possess at least 5 years of experience in software development using VC++ with a strong emphasis on MFC. A solid understanding of Oracle databases and experience working with SQL, PL/SQL, and database design is required. Proficiency in debugging, profiling, and optimizing C++ applications, as well as experience with source control systems (e.g., Git, SVN), is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are crucial for this role. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will also be key to your success in this position.,
