Sr. Database Administrator

You should have more than 5 years of experience in database administration. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is required. Additionally, you should have 4-5 years of hands-on experience in database administration. Desired Skills and Experience: - Proficiency in Oracle (Oracle 9i, 10g, and 11g) / MySQL database installation, upgradation, patching, and environment setup. - Strong knowledge of Oracle / MySQL fundamentals. - Experience in various types of backups and recoveries. - Ability to troubleshoot any Oracle / MySQL issues. - Extensive experience in creating high-performance normalized databases with correct indexes and partitioning. - Handling large databases efficiently. - Hands-on experience with Oracle stored procedures and functions. - Design and implementation of database development, preferably Oracle / MySQL, and related technologies, applications, and processes. - Proficiency in using software development tools. - Familiarity with data architecture design, database design, data analysis, and data modeling. - Proficiency in database and SQL performance tuning. - Knowledge of PL SQL, SQL Plus, Discover, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and TOAD. - Understanding of Oracle RAC (Real Application Cluster). - Knowledge of system integration and performance analysis. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking, and results-focused environment. - Strong interpersonal, analytical, and logical skills. - Oracle / MySQL Certification is preferred.
