Sr. QA Engineer

The ideal candidate for this position should have more than 5 years of experience in software testing. You should hold a degree in B. Tech./B.E. or M. Tech/M.E. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline. In addition, you must possess 4-5 years of firsthand experience in software testing. We are seeking developers for a white box testing position within the testing department. You should have strong coding skills in Java, with the ability to perform code analysis, develop testing tools, and create unit tests. It is essential to have a solid understanding of SDLC and Test Life Cycle processes. Creativity is key as you will be required to write programs for in-house testing tools for automation and enhance existing automation tools. Experience with test automation tools, particularly Selenium, will be advantageous. You will be responsible for writing test cases, executing tests, analyzing results, and ensuring high-quality delivery. As part of your responsibilities, you will need to conduct Root Cause Analysis and Impact Analysis, participate in review meetings, troubleshoot test environments, and write/verify JUnit test cases. Familiarity with JMeter and programming skills for coding performance test scripts are preferred, along with working knowledge of Java. Your expertise in test scripting, parameterization, correlation, and result analysis will be crucial for success in this role. You should be able to analyze performance testing requirements, interpret test results, and identify performance bottlenecks, recommending appropriate solutions. Experience in web/application/database server monitoring and creating performance test summary reports will be beneficial. Overall, you should possess a broad knowledge of various testing approaches and techniques, be adept at reading and interpreting application log files and database reports, and have the ability to plan, schedule, and execute performance testing assignments within set timeframes and budgets while meeting quality criteria.
