Special Projects - AI Agent Intern

Voicecare AI is a Healthcare Administration General Intelligence (HAGI) company for the back-office and the RCM industry. We are building a safety focused large and small conversational language model for the healthcare industry. Our mission is to dramatically improve access, adherence, and outcomes for the patients and the healthcare workforce through the application of generative AI. We are a venture-backed company partnering with the top healthcare stakeholders in the country. We are seeking a sharp, curious, and technically capable Special Projects - AI Agent intern to join our AI team. In this role, you will work at the intersection of research, and AI engineering to prototype, test, and iterate on advanced autonomous AI agents and systems. You ll support the development of cutting-edge tools that push the boundaries of how humans interact with intelligent systems. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment focused on experimental projects with high strategic importance. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and evaluate experimental AI agents for internal and external use cases. Assist in scoping technical feasibility and helping implement LLM-based workflows or autonomous agents (e.g., ReAct, AutoGPT, LangChain, etc.). Help create proof-of-concept demos that showcase AI capabilities in real-world settings (e.g., customer support, research automation, internal tooling). Contribute to data collection, fine-tuning, or prompt engineering tasks to improve agent performance and reliability. Participate in brainstorming, research sprints, and rapid prototyping cycles. Document findings, experiments, and agent behavior for internal knowledge sharing. Qualifications: Currently pursuing (final year) or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) like GPT-4, Claude, MCP, or open-source alternatives. Hands-on experience with Python and frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGPT, or similar. Interest and extensively experimented in agent-based systems, prompt engineering, or applied AI. Superior problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Candidates located in Bangalore will be given preference Candidates from top universities is a plus Bonus: Experience in UX design, rapid prototyping, or product thinking.
