Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled

Solaris Team Lead

to manage, maintain, and administer Oracle Solaris systems and associated infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Solaris 11 OS, SPARC servers, storage systems, and backup tools, and will be responsible for ensuring high availability and performance of critical infrastructure.

Required Technical Skills:

Administration of
Oracle Solaris 11 OS
Oracle SPARC Servers
configuration and management
Server monitoring and maintenance
Administration of
DELL EMC Networker
Backup & Recovery
Oracle SL4000 Tape Library

Hitachi Storage
management
Cisco SAN Switches

Good-to-Have:

Broader knowledge of Oracle Solaris SPARC server support, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain
Oracle SPARC Solaris servers
Handle
package and ZFS file system
management on Solaris 11
Create monitoring and threshold profiles for managed servers
Generate periodic
performance reports
Manage
user creation and access
on Solaris systems
Oversee
data backup and recovery
using DELL EMC Networker
Ensure adherence to
SLA agreements
with the client
Multitask, schedule activities, and effectively work within a team

Educational Qualification:

BE/BTech in Engineering from a recognized university
