Software Quality Assurance Team Lead

As a Team Lead Quality Assurance at Pune COE, your primary responsibility will be to lead and mentor a team of QA engineers. You will provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure the team's success. Developing and implementing quality assurance strategies and processes will be crucial to maintain product quality. In this role, you will be overseeing the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and automated tests to guarantee comprehensive test coverage. Collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner is essential. Monitoring and analyzing QA metrics will help in identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices. It will be your duty to ensure that QA processes are seamlessly integrated into the development lifecycle, from planning through deployment. Reporting on QA activities, test results, and quality metrics to senior management will be part of your regular tasks. Staying informed about industry best practices and advancements in QA methodologies is also expected. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 8 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a team-leader position. Proficiency in manual testing, working with JUnit, and programming languages such as Java is required. Experience with tools like Katalon, X-ray, or other testing tools is beneficial. Additionally, you should be adept at understanding functional requirements and delivering technical documentation. The role also requires good leadership skills, team management abilities, coaching, and mentoring capabilities.
