Job Description

We are looking for a software engineering manager with strong expertise in backend and web application development, along with proven success in leading engineering teams. Experience with mobile applications is a plus. The ideal candidate should be a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering scalable, secure, and performant applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of web and backend engineers to build reliable, scalable applications.
Own the technical delivery of projects from planning to deployment.
Collaborate closely with product, D\design, QA, and other stakeholders to define scope and timelines.
Ensure sound engineering practices: architecture design, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, documentation.
Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
Drive innovation, resolve blockers, and continuously improve team velocity and code quality.
Play a hands-on technical role when needed reviewing code, debugging, and solving system-level problems.

Requirements:

Bachelor s/ Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
6+ years of total experience, including 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend and web development.
Minimum 2 years leading engineering teams with proven delivery ownership.
Strong backend skills in Node.js, Python, Java, or equivalent, and experience with REST APIs, microservices, or event-driven architecture.
Solid experience in web technologies (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Angular, or Vue.js).
Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and CI/CD.
Excellent problem-solving, technical decision-making, and communication skills.
