Summary: Skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and implement business intelligence dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI. Candidates should collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver data-driven insights that enable informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather reporting and visualization requirements. Design, develop, and publish interactive and user-friendly Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets. Transform raw data into meaningful visualizations using Power Query (M), DAX, and Power BI visuals. Build and optimize data models for performance and usability. Connect Power BI to various data sources including SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud-based sources like Azure. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in reports. Maintain version control, report documentation, and performance tuning. Collaborate with data engineers and database administrators on data pipeline and warehouse requirements. Support ad-hoc analysis and develop self-service BI solutions for business users. Monitor usage, troubleshooting issues, and manage user access. Required Qualifications: Hands-on experience in Power BI report development. Strong experience with DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling. Proficient in SQL for querying and data transformation. Experience integrating Power BI with various data sources (SQL, Azure, Excel, APIs). Solid understanding of data visualization principles and UI/UX design. Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Preferred Skills: Experience with Power BI Service (workspaces, apps, security roles). Knowledge of Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake). Exposure to other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik) is advantageous. Good to have Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst Associate)
