As a Cold Fusion Developer at Momentive Software, you will have the opportunity to work with a powerful web application using some of the latest technologies alongside a talented team of developers. You will collaborate with other development team members in designing, developing, testing, and launching new functionality for our platform based in our Pune Office. In this role, you will be responsible for developing application code, contributing to lifecycle flow and value streams, mentoring junior team members, solving complex software development challenges, and maintaining a balance of business and technical acumen. You will also be involved in source-code management, estimation processes, and providing consultation to the development management team. To excel in this position, you must demonstrate good decision-making skills, effective communication both written and verbal, maintain confidentiality, have a growth mindset, expertise in technology and industry, establish effective working relationships, and possess analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality. **Must Have Skills:** - 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in ColdFusion development (CFML) with frameworks such as ColdBox, FW/1, or Model-Glue. - Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications in Cold Fusion, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. - Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Developing optimized database applications/queries using SQL, Oracle, or MySQL. - Familiarity with web services (REST/SOAP), XML, and JSON. - Experience with bug tracking and version control software like Git. - Understanding of MVC architecture, Object-oriented programming (OOP) design, and principles. - Familiarity with ColdFusion Builder and ColdFusion Report Builder. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently, and collaboratively in an Agile team setup. **Nice to have:** - Knowledge of Java or other backend programming skills. - Experience with Event Management software systems, membership management systems, or association software tools.
