Sitecore Developer

The Sitecore Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing Sitecore XP and XM solutions, including all aspects of development, testing, and deployment activities. You will work on implementing Sitecore XP solutions with SXA and Helix Principles, utilizing tools like TDS, Unicorn, Sitecore Content Serialization, and Glass Mapper to deliver Sitecore Implementations. It is essential to have a good understanding of the Sitecore Security Model and be able to create and install Sitecore packages, including custom fields, media library items, publishing, and workflow setup. Additionally, you will be expected to utilize or implement Web APIs to serve Sitecore data to other clients and design, develop, and test web applications using ASP .Net MVC and Sitecore XP, as well as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other related technologies. As a Sitecore Developer, you will also be required to lead and mentor junior team members in Sitecore development best practices, interact directly with customers to gather requirements and provide project updates, collaborate effectively with other developers and QA teams to address bugs/issues, and stay organized and updated on assigned tasks and directives. You will be responsible for writing code-based unit tests, creating clear and concise documentation in business terms, and implementing DevOps practices to enhance software development and deployment processes. This includes developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and tools for Sitecore applications. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in developing enterprise-level applications using .NET technologies, specifically C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Framework 4.6 & above. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Sitecore XP is required, along with strong technical knowledge of Content Management and familiarity with Sitecore features and best practices. Proficiency with Sitecore Helix, SXA, Forms, Unicorn, TDS, and ORMs is necessary, and knowledge of Sitecore JSS, Item Serialization, Sitecore CLI, connect, and Docker containers would be advantageous. Additionally, experience with DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential for this role. A good understanding of Sitecore Content Search API, search providers supported by Sitecore, SOLR, version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or SVN, and familiarity with Design Patterns are also required.
