Detailing and validate engineering details of Plant room, prepare HVAC Heat Load using software , Pump Head calculations, basics of HVAC Design concepts, basics of all HVAC Design calculations, Insulations selections, valves sizing, prepare schedule of valves for high side of plant room. Estimate the BOQ quantity and costing for the plant room offerings, interact with SCM and vendors and get best price, Optimization of quantity and costing to meet the target prices required to win the project. Ensure proper compliance required for presales and post sales activities based on project technical requirement and specifications, apply compliance as per local codes and maintain the standard of deliverables. JCI will be responsible for Design of Plant Room, supply of equipment like chillers/pumps/cooling towers with associated piping/commissioning and performance contract for selected cases. Maintain engineering integrity of all projects, ensures quality, technical, administrative, and financial requirements are met. Monitors, assesses, records and reports status, issues, risks, and activities regarding project objectives. How You Will Do It As the chiller plant room designer, you will use your in-depth experience to prepare best Schematic and design layout & provide standard output drawings in AutoCAD(2D) and RIVET Modelling (3D). Prepare drawing models (AutoCAD & RIVET) for equipment’s that required to complete the drawing Apply structural design concepts that required for plant room supports for both Mechanical and Electrical works. Collaborating with the MEP, HVAC clients, consultants, Sales and Delivery Teams to gather basic information and Design Plant room. Gaining detailed insight into the existing plans through a thorough review of existing drawings, heat load analyses, MEP design specifications. Prepare the Technical Data sheets for equipment’s, interact with vendors and get queries cleared and submit to Client/Consultants. BOQ Estimations and Costing for Plant room works and Optimization of Quantity and Costing. Coordinating with Internal and external customers/stake holders s as applicable to review and/or prepare detailed designs of chiller plant rooms and low side air conditioning systems. Establish and maintain a high level of quality design functionality to customers for maximum retention. Prepares of Quality Check list, Drawing output check list and maintain overall QA/QC documentation of presales and post sales activities. Design/section of chiller plant system and equipment including chillers, colling towers, pumps, valves, piping etc. Possess basic knowledge of CPM, plant sequencing and its controls that helps to interact more with controls team of Plant room. Required (Mandatory) What we look for Minimum 5 Years of experience in Chiller Plant Room design in RIVET and AutoCAD. Overall 6+ years of experience in HVAC Industry. Experience in Design Pipe concepts and Estimation techniques required for Chiller plant manager along with cabling and accessories. Preparation of HVAC Heat load using HAP and manual methods. Knowledge of major equipment’s like Chillers, Pumps, VFDs, Cooling Towers and interpretation of its technical data sheets to prepare the detailed drawing. Knowledge of different pumping systems design and comparison. Knowledge of HVAC Engineering practices, Preparation of TDS, get approvals, compliances, BOQ Estimations and Costing, Optimizations and Low side design and engineering practices. Understanding and experience of electrical distribution and design and estimation. Candidate should be able to design Plant Room independently. Proficient in written and verbal communication Good Team player Ability to travel locally if needed. Added Advantage Knowledge of Equipment’s selections, like chillers and preparation of Chiller Submittals for presales activities. Knowledge of energy analysis will be added advantage. Understanding of local building and electrical codes and regulations. Review program specifications to determine and set machine operations and sequencing, finished work piece dimensions, and/or numerical control sequences. Monitor machine operation and control panel display and compare readings to specifications to detect malfunctions. Adjust machine parameters, for optimized welding if the machine malfunctions. Confer with Production leader/Operations Manager to resolve machine malfunctions and production errors, and/or to obtain approval to continue production. Employee is responsible for any re-work or corrections as necessary to ensure a product meets specifications (ensure welds are cosmetically appropriate, completing a weld line if the machine missed one, grinding the weld, etc.). Load and unload material manually or with hoists or cranes, depending on weight and size. Clean machines, tooling, and parts, using solvents or solutions and rags. Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and material on the machine, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Performs manual welding during robot weld cycle, if required. Set up future jobs while robot is operating. Adhere to all safety requirements and protocols. Must be willing to work extended hours or shifts as requested.
