Senior Visual Designer

Job Description

The Senior Visual Designer provides design guidance by generating ideas and executing them across all projects. The ideal candidate should be a conceptual thinker and a talented designer with diverse experience in print, digital, and social advertising. Experience Required: 3 - 5 years Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Brand, Marketing, and Growth teams to create compelling digital and print content for websites, emails, social channels, and ads. Ensure consistency and quality of design assets. Maintain flexibility in design aesthetics to match a variety of brand styles. Communicate directly with teams regarding requests, timelines, and progress. Develop branding for YourStory IPs and creatives for digital media promotions. Oversee and manage the overall design process, ensuring high-quality execution. Qualifications and Preferred Skills: Bachelor s degree in Art, Graphic Design, or a relevant field. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a graphic designer, particularly in digital media. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Strong PowerPoint skills ability to design visually compelling, well-structured decks with advanced formatting, animations, and data visualization. Basic knowledge of web design and familiarity with Figma and Webflow (good to have). Ability to work on illustrations and strong knowledge of typography. Basic video animation skills are a plus. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong aesthetic sense and understanding of design principles. Good communication and teamwork skills.
