Senior Video Editor (Remote)

We’re looking for a video editor who doesn’t just cut clips — they build stories. Whether it's UGC for D2C brands, a slick ad film, or a moody founder reel, you should know how to turn raw footage into content that makes people stop scrolling.

• Editing branded content, reels, founder films, and UGC for social
• Collaborating closely with directors, strategists, and clients
• Bringing mood, pace, and polish to every cut
• Helping shape the visual tone of Ubuntu Studios as we grow

• 2+ years of editing experience (freelance or agency — we don’t care as long as you’re good)
• A solid showreel (don’t apply without this, please)
• Command over Premiere Pro (After Effects, DaVinci = bonus)
• Good taste. That’s more important than good tools.
• An instinct for pacing, storytelling, and social media trends
• Manage and organize media assets and project files efficiently.
• Optimize workflows for speed and efficiency in content delivery.
• Stay updated with industry trends and video editing techniques.
• Strong understanding of color grading, sound design, and motion graphics integration.
• Knowledge of industry-standard video codecs, formats, and export settings.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
