• Administer and troubleshoot Hyper-V, Windows Server (2016/2019), IIS, MS SQL, and RHEL environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Leverage expertise in Hyper-V virtualization to manage virtual environments and resolve issues promptly. Configure and maintain Windows Failover Clusters to ensure high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) readiness.
• Manage HPE physical servers, storage, and ILO management tools. Monitor server health and resolve issues related to hardware, system resources, and connectivity.
• Lead Change, incident and problem management pertaining to storage and Windows technology, including review of RCA reposts.
• Provide support for IIS, MS SQL, and application deployments, ensuring smooth configuration, backup, restoration, and troubleshooting. Manage the deployment of patches and updates in production environments.
• Actively monitor systems for security, performance, and usability concerns, resolving incidents within defined SLAs. Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide excellent customer support, addressing technical issues with effective solutions.
• Plan and implement disaster recovery strategies and backup solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and recovery protocols. Ensure adherence to organizational policies, standards, and best practices.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
• Strong expertise in Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, File Servers, SMTP, WSUS, SMS Service, AD Connect, Azure AD, Office 365, and print servers.
• Proficient in system and service configuration, troubleshooting, hardening as per SOP and patch management.
• Hands-on experience with backup and restore operations, including disaster recovery procedures.
• Familiarity with security technologies and proactive threat mitigation practices.
• Proven experience in managing a 24x7 production environment.
• Should have experience in managing renewals, new procurement, contracts and dealing with external vendors / third parties.

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Operating Systems (preferred).
• Additional certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, MS SQL, etc.) are a plus.
