Senior Software Engineer - Python

The ideal candidate for this position is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. It is essential to excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks while possessing outstanding communication and leadership skills. Your responsibilities will include building, maintaining, and releasing high-quality vulnerability content, as well as developing new services and plugins for generating new vulnerability content. You will also be involved in improving the automation pipeline for recurring coverage and collaborating with technical leaders and team members to enhance vulnerability coverage portfolio. Additionally, providing mentoring and coaching to junior engineers is a key part of this role. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in software development with Python. Experience with Java and Ruby is considered a plus, along with working knowledge of Cloud-based deployments such as AWS/GCP/Azure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform/Ansible, virtualization, and containers. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins, proficiency in version control systems like GitHub, and a degree in BEng, BSc, or related technical field are required. The ability to organize and drive projects within a team, a passion for technology, curiosity, and eagerness to learn, along with mentoring skills for junior team members are highly valued. You should be adaptable to thrive in a high-growth, evolving environment, be a collaborative team player, possess strong creative problem-solving skills, and have excellent written and verbal communication abilities both within the team and cross-functionally. Experience with cloud services and infrastructure, particularly AWS, would be advantageous for this role.,
