Senior Procurement Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage procurement operations, including sourcing, contracting, and vendor management.
• Develop and implement procurement plans to meet business objectives.
• Lead a team of procurement professionals to achieve targets and improve processes.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best value for the organization.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Experience in procurement of project raw materials like Steel Plates, Structurals (angles, channels &
• beams etc.), Pipes, Fittings, Flanges, Gaskets, Gratings, Valves, Paints, Fasteners, Mechanical seals,
• Jet Mixer, Floating Suction, etc. General Consumables and Offloading of Machining and Fabrication Items to Outside Subcontractors.
• Skilled Negotiator with demonstrated ability to achieve cost reduction.
• Proven track record of successfully employing best business practices that improve productivity, reduce operating costs and increase the delivery performance to tight schedule projects within time and budget.
• Proven abilities in developing and formulating production planning functions right from project initialization to manufacturing, quality inspections at various stages till dispatch.
• Excellent strategic & management skills with experience in arranging required inputs to productions on time.
• Excellent team player with strong analytical and organizational skills, and abilities in learning new
• concepts quickly and communicating ideas clearly
  

• Desired Candidate Profile

• 10-18 years of experience in procurement management or related field.
• Strong budget management skills with ability to manage budgets effectively.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing teams remotely or virtually.
• Proven track record in negotiation techniques for successful contract negotiations.
• Experience working in Infrastructure (Tunnels, Dams, O&G projects, Lift irrigation projects etc..,)
