Senior Merchandiser

We are looking to hire a Senior Merchandiser with a good knowledge in Karur based Home textile Industry. The candidate must have an experience of 5-6 years. Roles and Responsibilities Managing the team at the designated location. Planning and developing merchandising strategies Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, distributors to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales. Supervision of sample making, price negotiation, price confirmation, order confirmation. Maintaining both Sampling and Production Timelines. Keeping a check on the product quality and production control for timely order execution and delivery. Taking overall responsibility for inspections. Ensuring timely execution of shipments. Analyzing customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs. Desired Candidate Profile Knowledge about woven fabric. Must have good knowledge of Product and Costing. Should possess good communication skills. Senior Merchandisers must also have a keen eye for detail.
