Senior Mechanical Technician – Power Plant (Kuwait)

This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in power plants or valve manufacturing environments, looking for an exciting overseas opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and supervise mechanical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of rotating and static equipment such as pumps, compressors, valves, turbines, and heat exchangers.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.
• Ensure timely execution of preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Identify mechanical faults and provide practical solutions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and generate reports.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and plant operational standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade certification.
• ✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in Power Plants or Valve Manufacturing Contracts.
• ✅ Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and maintenance procedures.
• ✅ Ability to lead junior technicians and coordinate with engineering teams.
• ✅ Gulf experience preferred but not mandatory.
