Job Description

Role & responsibilities : Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and quality standards. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of testers, including test leads, engineers, and analysts, to ensure high performance, collaboration, and professional growth. Test Planning and Execution: Oversee the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts across various projects and product lines. Ensure thorough coverage of functional, non-functional, and regression testing. Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and standards to identify defects, track issues, and verify software and product quality throughout the development lifecycle. Automation and Tooling: Drive the adoption and implementation of test automation frameworks, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability of testing processes. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and dependencies associated with testing activities and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines and deliverables. Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to ensure alignment of testing efforts with project requirements and priorities. Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of testing activities. Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in testing and quality assurance. Drive initiatives for process improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the testing organization. Qualification & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field Proven experience (10 to 15years) in leading testing teams and managing testing projects in a corporate environment. Strong technical skills in software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, HP UFT, or Test Complete. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are desirable. Experience in Regression testing, Sandbox testing, Functional testing, Acceptance testing required.
