Senior Manager - PPC & IE

Job Description

Develop and set up SAP system for production planning and controlling functions. Develop and set up shopfloor dispatching and scheduling system. Communicate and coordinate with Group SCM, BU OH, and Production for loading/shipment/output management. Establish production planning and controlling in the plant in order to fulfil CSR targets for both sample and mass production orders as defined. Optimize WIP distribution of production orders to each production processes. Provide the production planning to all production departments in order to achieve the output targets at each station as defined. Make short & long term capacity & material planning, foresee potential constraints & provide basis for new investment decision making. Maintain the capacity data up to date for forecast planning. Optimize capacity utilization in each station and set output target of each station and evaluate their performance. Set production priority and evaluate the priority follow up status. Maximize the order loading by utilizing the bottle neck processes in the most optimized way. Seek for alternatives actively with production department involvement on the bottle neck processes in order to maximize the output/loading. Anticipate on, and recognize and take action for events/situations that could adversely affect production efficiencies. Lead the annual WIP physical inventory with related departments. Lead or actively participate into the projects for continuous improvement of lead time, capacity and SAP related. Demonstrate positive two-way communications, fair and consistent administration of company policy and procedure, responsiveness to employee concerns and problems. Set up the PPC organization for the plant. Achieve the staff qualification rate as defined. Ensure no impact on the production ramp-up due to PPC system and staff readiness. Achieve the departmental goals as set with the superior. Lead or actively participate in to continuous improvement of shopfloor dispatching and scheduling system Your Profile Masters/bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Microelectronics / Mechatronics / Semiconductor Technology, Material science) or equivalent Min 10 years of similar experience in/as operations/production/ engineering in substrate/ semiconductor/ HDI Manufacturing/ EMS industry Planning & managerial experience in manufacturing industry preferred Good analytical skills with attention to details Good knowledge of SAP Good stress management skills Process engineering experience in IC-Substrate, HDI-PCB, Assembly, IC-Packaging or related industry Fluent written and oral English Experience in working with intercultural teams preferred Open minded approach, Good team working spirit and leadership skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills Computer skills MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PPT) Our Offer Personal and professional growth opportunities in a Greenfield Project of a recognized MNC A chance to actively contribute to AT&S success and to create value A secure position with long-term career perspective in an internationally expanding environment Attractive and competitive compensation package
