Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Lead HR operations across stores, studios, and corporate offices (including international locations if required).
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, fashion industry regulations, and health & safety standards.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll, and HRIS systems.
  • Champion training and development programs tailored for fashion professionals (e.g., product knowledge, visual merchandising, creative direction).
  • Promote leadership development and cross-functional learning opportunities.
  • Drive DEI initiatives that reflect the values and global nature of the brand.
  • Ensure diversity is celebrated across teams and represented in hiring, marketing, and partnerships.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment for retail, design, marketing, and corporate roles.
  • Implement effective talent acquisition strategies that align with brand identity and seasonal needs.
  • Lead succession planning, performance management, and career development programs.
  • Experience working with designers, creatives, and production teams.
  • Background in both startup and established brand environments is a plus.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Masters or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) is preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 23 years in the fashion, clothing, or accessories industry.
  • Proven leadership experience managing HR teams across multiple locations (retail + corporate).
  • Readiness for minimum 3 years of commitment.
  • Strong knowledge of retail workforce dynamics, seasonal hiring cycles, and creative team management.
  • Deep understanding of brand culture, employee experience, and employer branding in the fashion industry.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and data-driven HR strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and change management skills.
