What this job involves

Transaction Processing and Reporting

• Process various transactions including

  accruals, allocations, and journals

  .
• Prepare and process

  month-end reporting

  .
• Perform

  accounts reconciliations

  and resolve open items.

Compliance and Monitoring

• Ensure completion of assigned tasks accurately and timely, following instructions and procedures.
• Proactively flag work items at risk of missing KPIs to a supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with the Firm's

  financial, operating policies/procedures, and Statutory compliances

  .
• Day-to-day

  monitoring and maintenance of the general mailbox

  .

Documentation and Improvement

• Follow

  process documentation

  for day-to-day activities.
• Create and update

  SOPs

  for assigned tasks.
• Track and monitor

  aged items

  , taking effective steps for closure.
• Assist with other accounting duties necessary for running various portfolios within the team.
• Perform duties related to

  process improvement initiatives, system implementation, and ad-hoc projects

  .
• Perform

  quality checks

  to ensure accuracy in Service Delivery.

Desired Skills and Experience

Education

• Accounting Background (B. Com/M. Com/MBA Finance).

Technical Skills

• Strong

  accounting knowledge

  , including accruals, prepayments, and re-class.
• Computer skills including ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet (MS-Excel - Pivot, V-lookup, formulas) and word-processing programs, and email at a moderate to advanced efficiency.
