Your mission is to deliver adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology. As a dynamic UI/UX designer, you will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of various digital assets, ensuring elements are optimised for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design. Aliens Tattoo, a premium chain of tattoo studios established in 2011, has experienced significant growth over the past decade, with revenue increasing 8X in the last 5 years and a team of 150 employees across various functions and departments. In addition to tattooing, art, design, and piercing services, Aliens Tattoo is a pioneer in the tattoo education industry, offering a platform and school to help aspiring tattoo artists succeed. Responsibilities: - Improve the overall UI/UX on all websites and digital footprints to enhance user experience. - Investigate user experience design requirements for digital assets. - Conceptualize, develop, and implement a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand. - Produce high-quality UX design solutions including wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes. - Develop UI mockups and prototypes illustrating site functionality and appearance. - Design, test, and implement various UI elements, landing pages, page flows, etc., to enhance user experience. - Collaborate with the marketing team and internal/external designers to deliver tailored digital user experiences. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years UI/UX design experience for websites and web applications. - Strong eye for detail, design sense, and taste. - Portfolio showcasing professional UI/UX design work for web and mobile platforms. - Extensive knowledge of designing websites compatible with various screen formats (desktop, iPad, mobile, etc.). - Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Wix, Wordpress, and Design Systems. - Team player with the ability to work independently. - Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills, prioritizing tasks effectively.
