Job Description

Minimum 10 years of experiencein electrical detailed engineering, FEED and proposal/estimation works andincluding 1 year in engineering/supervisor works at construction sitepreferably in the field of Oil & Gas and Chemicals

Workas part of the Electrical Engineering Team with specific responsibilityfor:

1) Overall engineeringexecution for electrical system

2) Preparation of job executionplan, and control/manage quality, bill of quantities, engineering schedule andwork hours

3) Review of input for design

4) Coordination work withinterface disciplines, such as Civil, Piping, Instrument, Building, HSE,Painting, Insulation and others.

5) Manage engineeringsub-contractor (outsource)

4) Coordination work with Client,Vendors, engineering subcontractors and others

5) Design, Prepare, review/checkand approve the following drawings/deliverables:

Equipment/materialand design specification, data sheet, calculation

Layoutsfor substation, cable way, power/control, lighting, earthing, telecommunication

Schematicwiring and connection diagram

Detailedelectrical installation drawings

Cable andDrum schedule

One LineDiagram/Protection & Metering Diagram

Systemstudy/Protection relay setting list

Inquirypackage, including Requisition for electrical equipment/materials

Technicalbid evaluation report

6) Prepare technicalcorrespondence and query to Client

7) Preparation ofEquipment/Material selection and MTO (Material Take-Off)

8) Vendor document review forelectrical and other disciplines

9) Field Engineering work inConstruction site/Module fabrication yard

10) Other necessary work requested/instructed by supervisors

Requirements

Knowledge of structural engineering input and output.
Knowledge of international code and standards (such as AISC, ASCE, ACI, PIP, Euro and BS etc...) for steel and concrete structural design.
Knowledge of international code and standards (such as ASCE, UBC etc...) for wind load and seismic load.
Knowledge of transport analysis of module structure.
Knowledge of standard international styles of business communication and experience in the preparation of business and technical documentation.
Knowledge of plant facilities (Piping, Electrical, Instrument, Equipment etc.) in oil refinery projects, LNG plant projects, and/or gas processing plant projects.
Knowledge of design information of plant facilities (Piping, Electrical, Instrument, Equipment etc.) in oil refinery projects, LNG plant projects, and/or gas processing plant projects.
STAAD PRO operation skills.
Calculation knowledge of connection capacity.
Navisworks operation skills.
MS office operation skills.
Direct supervision and checking of the work by junior staff will be required at times.
